एक कह रहे हैं आम का पेड़ मैंने लगाया,इस लिए आम मेरा है। एक कह रहे हैं मुख्य मंत्री मैं तो पेड़ मेरा है। एक कह रहे हैं मुख्य मंत्री होंगे आप लेकिन मुख्य मंत्री निवास में रहता मैं तो पेड़ मेरा है!

इनके जैसा कोइ है ही नहीं इस दुनिया में, ना तो हॉलीवुड में है ना बॉलीवुड में। ये बेमिसाल हैं, ये हैं अमिताभ।

वैज्ञानिको के बारे में कहा जाता है they do their best work at a young age. Einstein ने relativity किस उम्र में दिया? कलाकारों के बारे में कहा जाता है it is the opposite. Godfather ना? तो वो तो रिटायर हो चुके थे। फिल्म डायरेक्टर ने रिटायरमेंट से घसीट के लाया, कि चलो, और कोइ ये रोल कर ही नहीं सकता। अमिताभ का अभी तक का सबसे अच्छा रोल कौन? Black ना? But I genuinely believe the best is yet to come. अमिताभ अभी २० साल और दौडेंगे। The brain stays youthful until the very end. That is the only organ that stays at top speed until the very end. तो अमिताभ का खेल तो दिमाग का खेल है। कम उम्र में गुंडों की पिटाई करते थे, अब वो गुंडो की पिटाई करवाएंगे। Which is more powerful?

अमिताभ के सामने २० साल है, मोदी के सामने भी २० साल है। That is enough time to turn India into a First World Country, more than enough time.

Amitabh's best is yet to come, I just don't know what that will be, or when it might come.

But speaking just for me, I am a quantity man, quality तो मेरे को अमिताभ के प्रत्येक फिल्म में मिल जाती है। And right now it feels like the early 80s, एक के बाद एक अमिताभ फिल्म आने लगे हैं।

100 Smart Cities, 100 World Class Universities

Modi talked of "100 Smart Cities" on the campaign trail in 2014. In 2019 he should perhaps talk of 100 World Class Universities. A world class university is one where people from all over the world come to study. He should also talk of 100 World Class Hospitals doing cutting edge work that caters not only to domestic needs but also to medical tourism.

India is a big, diverse, rich-poor country where you have to come from the low end, but also from the high end. It has to build toilets, but also missions to Mars. It has to wipe out poverty but also think of creating the industries of tomorrow at the same time. And you can not create the industries of tomorrow without having a stable of world class universities.

A world class university of today will be built around all that is available and possible online. MOOCs will be at the core of it. All journals will be available. Guest lectures will be the norm.
