१५% और १०% में फर्क

१०% growth rate पर ७ साल में doubling होती है, १५% growth rate पर ५ साल में। बहुत फर्क पड़ता है। Compete भी करिए और cooperate भी करिए। मोदी कहते हैं, "दल से बड़ा देश।" तो उसके जवाब में "दाल में कुछ काला है" मत कहिए। उस बात पर मनन करिए। जनता द्वारा चुने प्रधान मंत्री की बात पर मनन करना लोकतान्त्रिक संस्कृति का तकाजा है। मोदी एक व्यक्ति नहीं एक संस्था है। जब तक देश में से गरीबी ख़त्म न हो जाए तब तक Opposition को thoughtful opposition का रोल अदा करना चाहिए। चीन ने तो किया गरीबी ख़त्म। आप के सामने किया। कैसे किया? Per capita income के हिसाब से १९९० में भारत चीन से आगे था। अब देखो। जब गरीबी ख़त्म हो जाए तब फिर knee jerk opposition का मौका मिलेगा।

१५% और १०% में फर्क बहुत है। १०% तो चीन ने किया। उसको मात करो। संभव है। A 15% growth rate for 30 years: that should be the goal.

६४ ट्रिलियन चाहिए कि २५६ ट्रिलियन? ----- per capita income का हिसाब करो, Gross Domestic Product का नहीं। भारत का Gross Population भी तो बहुत है।

256 Trillion/ 2 Billion = $128,000

तो २०५० में एक भारतीय का वार्षिक आमदनी १२८,००० डॉलर हो जाये, वो नार्मल बात है। सालाना १२८,००० डॉलर कमाने वाले लोग मैं रोज मिलता हुँ। कौन सी बड़ी बात है?

लेकिन हवा और पानी गन्दा कर के वहां नहीं पहुंचना। शरीर के लिए सबसे जरुरी हवा, तब पानी, तब भोजन तब और कुछ। गन्दा हवा और पानी वाला विकास तो विकास ही नहीं है।

नीतिश कुमार और नरेंद्र मोदी: दोनों के दोनों

The Bihari voters are smart. They can opt to get Nitish at the state level, and keep Modi at the center again in 2019. The Bihari voters know the difference between a central government and a state government. नीतिश कुमार और नरेंद्र मोदी: दोनों के दोनों। एक साथ।

Nitish could be brilliant in power in Patna, and brilliant in opposition at the national level, and Sushil Modi could be brilliant in opposition in Patna. लोकतंत्र में Opposition का भी बहुत बड़ा महत्त्व होता है। ये भारत है, चीन तो नहीं।

आल इंडिया मजलिस मुसलमान

आल इंडिया मजलिस मुसलमान नामकी कोइ पार्टी है हैदराबाद से। मैंने YouTube पर भाषण सुना दोनों भाइयों का। वे भी भारतीय लोकतंत्र के उपहार हैं। मजलिस शब्द का अर्थ क्या है? मंजिल का मतलब destination. मेरे को कोइ मंच पर से राज ठाकरे की धुलाई करे तो बहुत अच्छा लगता है। उस आदमी ने बैठे बैठे अमिताभ को खरी खोटी सुना दी। अमिताभ अपना फिल्मों में काम कर रहे हैं। इस बात का उस आदमी को ऐतराज है?

एकीकृत जनता पार्टी का नेत्तृत्व नीतिश को ही करना चाहिए

मुलायम post-retirement age आज नहीं दश साल पहले पहुँच गए। तब तो गद्दी अखिलेश को दिया। लालु भी दो चार साल पहले उस रेखा के उस पार पहुँच गए हैं। So who is the last man standing? That is Nitish. अभी नीतिश के पास लगभग दश साल है। उम्र के हिसाब से। मैं biology की बात कर रहा हुँ।

मुलायाम ये बात नहीं समझते हैं तो अखिलेश को २०१७ में दिक्कत है। एकीकृत जनता पार्टी का नेत्तृत्व नीतिश को ही करना चाहिए। ओरिजिनल जो जनता पार्टी थी उसका चुनाव चिन्ह चक्का बहुत अच्छा था। उसी को फिर से वापस ले आओ। उसको अशोक चक्र बोलो ताकि लोग इम्प्रेस हो जाए। अशोक चक्र। यादव लोगों को बोलो कृष्ण चक्र -- वो वोट बैंक सुरक्षित रहेगा। कुम्हार लोगों को बोलो turning wheel. किसान लोगों को बोलो बयल गाडी का चक्का। मजदुरों को बोलो फैक्ट्री का चक्का। सड़क बनाते मजदुरों को बोलो wheel barrow. सबके सब खुश। Auto Rickshaw बालों को बोलो उनका चक्का। सब को बोलो ट्रैन का पहिया। वैज्ञानिक लोगों को बोलो Archimedes का व्हील।

China: A Complex Picture

• A black guy is in the White House occupying the most powerful political office on the planet and can still be at the receiving end of racism. What is the solution to that? The only way the African Americans are lo longer a sorry lot in America is if Africa does the China thing. Africa needs to become an economic powerhouse. Africa needs to attempt a political, economic union, or at least a free trade area. 
• China has lifted more people out of poverty than any power in history. I would want India and Africa to emulate that. 
• China grew at double digit growth rates for 30 years. That is mind blowing. I want to know how. I want to learn. 
• China has campaign finance reform. America needs campaign finance reform. 

• The only way China can now go back to double digit growth rates is if it engages in fundamental political reform. China still is only one fourth the size of America measured by per capita income. It needs to grow at double digit rates for another 20 years before it relaxes a bit. 
• The only way China can truly integrate Taiwan and Tibet is if it goes federal. 
• You can not dream up the industries of tomorrow if you do not celebrate free speech. It is only a matter of time before the Internet is beamed down from the skies, and then your virtual Great Wall will fall like a house of cards. 
• Don't exacerbate ethnic tensions in places like Sri Lanka and Burma, or India will come after you with everything it's got. 
• If the Dalai Lama wants to visit Tibet, he should be allowed to visit Tibet. Anyone or any power who thinks otherwise is wrong in the head. 

• China engaging in fundamental political reform paves the way for China becoming a true global power. 
• China could lead the way on things like boundless clean energy and global bullet trains. But only political reforms will give it an image makeover to make big moves possible. 
• True leaders are not bullies.

विलियम, हरिवंश, एल, अमिताभ

इंग्लैंड में विलियम शेक्सपियर, भारत में  हरिवंश राय बच्चन। अमरिका में एल प्याचीनो, भारतमें अमिताभ बच्चन। लेकिन विलियम शेक्सपियर और एल प्याचीनो एक ही परिवार से नहीं थे।

नरेंद्र मोदी, नीतिश कुमार, सुशील मोदी, अमिताभ बच्चन

हम किसे मानते हैं? मोदी को या फिर नीतिश को? हम तो भारत के जनता को मानते हैं। हम तो लोकतंत्र को मानते हैं। मोदी और नीतिश से उपर हैं भारत, भारतकी जनता, और लोकतंत्र। अमिताभ को मानते हैं, लेकिन वे भी तो भारत के लोगों द्वारा दिया हुवा तोहफा है मेरे लिए। नरेंद्र मोदी, नीतिश कुमार, सुशील मोदी, अमिताभ बच्चन।

वैसे I am lucky, I have been gifted with sound political instincts. तो मैं मोदी या नीतिश जैसे लोगों को ऐसे गहरी दिलचस्पी से देखता हुँ as if I am watching a game of World Cup Soccer. That is nothing to do with being Indian. That is about being political. I don't watch rugby, or basketball, or baseball, or even cricket. There was no cricket in the Nepal I grew up in. I watch Indian politics. It is my sport to watch. बहुत दिलचस्प है। India is easily the most interesting democracy in the world.
